Я стояла у подножия холма.
И заметила, что ветер смотрит на меня.
Когда я поднималась вверх, мне было все равно,
только бы остановиться на вершине.
Я шла, не видя ничего вокруг,
чтоб больше не звенеть.

Я встала на вершине, как игла.
И вдруг увидела окрестные поля, дороги и долины,
равнины, родники и спины
людей, идущих вдаль.
Людей, идущих от меня
в глубокие бескрайние поля.

И ветер раздувал мою одежду.

I stood at the foot of the hill.
And noticed that the wind was looking at me.
While I was going up, I did not care,
only to stop at the top.
I moved, not seeing anything around,
so as not to make noise anymore.

I stood up on the top like a needle.
And suddenly saw the surrounding fields, roads and valleys,
plains, rivers and backs
of people going far
from me
into deep endless fields.

And wind was blowing my clothes.
And gently swayed my hair.
